Spinach Dip

1 envelope Dry Vegetable Soup Mix (Knorr or Mrs. Grass)
1 c Mayonnaise
1 c Sour Cream
1 9 oz package Chopped Spinach (defrosted and squeezed dry)
1 small can sliced Water Chestnuts (drained and diced)
1 Sheepherder’s Bread Loaf

Mix first 5 ingredients together the night before. Refrigerate. Serve in hollowed out Sheepherder’s Bread, cutting top and sides into cubes. Or serve with crackers.

Pat’s Salsa

1 can stewed tomatoes
2 fresh Jalapeno peppers
1/4 onion
1 clove garlic
2 stems fresh cilantro OR 1 tsp. dried cilantro
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. garlic powder

Put all ingredients in a blender. Use the grate function for 15-30 seconds.
